Alright, this is long but if youre researching like I was, you need details. I flew from London to Istanbul solo for 3 implants. Was I terrified? Yes. The internet is full of horror stories. But AliAdent's coordinator, Maya, answered like 100 of my emails before I even booked my flight. When I arrived, the driver was there, the clinic was modern but not intimidating. The consultation was an HOUR long. dr elman drew diagrams, showed me models, answered my "what if" questions. The day of surgery, I was a wreck. But the anesthetist was joking with me, and next thing I knew I was waking up. Recovery room with a blanket, someone checking my vitals constantly. The pain after was...manageable. Like, I took the meds and watched Netflix. The critical bit? I wish the dietary advice for the first week was a bit more detailed i lived on soup but got bored fast. Maybe a recipe sheet would help. BUT, that's my only tiny critique. 😁 The follow up calls, the check ups, the fact the dentist gave me his WhatsApp for emergencies...it felt like a partnership. Now, 6 months later, I have my permanent teeth. They feel rock solid. I eat apples. I smile in photos without thinking. Was it a leap of faith? Absolutely. Was it worth it? For the quality, care, and price, without a doubt. I'd do it again, just pack more soup varieties.
