From "omg this pain" to "wait, its over?" A whole journeyI have to write this because last week I was in literal tears from a throbbing tooth, googling emergency clinics at 2am. I called aliadent first thing crying and the lady on the phone was so calm and got me in that afternoon. I walked in a mess, braced for the worst pain imaginable. The waiting area was quiet and smelt nice not like chemicals which was a surprise. The dentist took one look and knew what it was an absess he said. He explained it super clearly, showed me the xray and said he could drain it and start a root canal right then to stop the pain. I was so scared but he was so patient. AND HE WAS RIGHT. The moment he gave the local anesthetic the relief started, and the procedure itself was...weirdly fine? I felt pressure but zero pain. He kept talking me through it. Afterwards, the agony that had taken over my life was just GONE. I almost cried again from relief. They gave me printed instructions and a number to call anytime.
