My name is Syed, I live in Copenhagen and I had literally never sat behind a wheel before starting at Alliance Trafik Skole. As a non-EU resident, the Danish traffic rules felt like a whole new world, so finding a school that also taught in English made a huge difference that's actually what brought me to Alliance Trafik Skole in the first place.
I mostly took my lessons in Kastrup, and honestly the instructors here are something else. Mr. Abbas was my main instructor for the automatic car and he's brilliant at what he does. He never just told me what to do he always explained why, which made everything click much faster. Very calm, very clear, and genuinely patient.
For theory, Mr. Waheed, Mr. Qasim and Mr. Amin prepared me really well. I passed my theory exam on the first attempt in January, which I was really proud of considering I started from scratch in late November. Mr. Qasim also took me out for a couple of manual car lessons on the road, which was a great extra experience.
The practical exam journey was a bit of a rollercoaster my first date got cancelled, I failed my first attempt after a speed limit mistake that threw me off mentally, but I came back and passed on March 25th on my 2nd Trial. The support from the school throughout kept me going.
