30 Years of driving. 24 January 2026 was the first time ever I needed a recovery for my car in Mahon Point Cork.I need my car to be Collected from Mahon Point and delivered to Milford Cork. 71 km distance. I contacted Allianz. From the second I made that call to Allianz I got nothing but lies after lies it truly was the most disgusting behaviour from a company Allianz would only take my car with recovery 20km I was told. Allianz gave me no information whatsoever to help me. Allianz sent out AAAA could not fix car.I had to ring a private recovery company to collect my car 300 euro cost to me.AA told me as apart of my insurance policy I could get a car for 2 days. Again I called Allianz. Asked am I covered to get a car for 2 days . Yes she said I'll sort that out. The rental company will ring you in 1 hour. I asked why was I not told that first time I called. No one called me back from Allianz or a Rental car Company never called me.Again I called Allianz told my story I was put on hold for 10 minutes and the phone was hung up on me. Again I called Allianz. Told my story. I was told because I paid for my own recovery. I would not get a car Rental because I did not use Allianz recovery of 20km service. But you never told me that from the very start. I'm a lover of movies 🎬. But to me it's a perfect example of Gordon Gekko . Greed is Good self interest .Allianz you had no interest in helping me today. What kind of a Company lies to a customer when in 30 years of taking there money you can't even tell the truth on the phone. Disgusting Behaviour. 7 Days on Allianz never replied to my complaint. What a company I had to make a Complaint to my insurance broker before Allianz would even reply to my complaint. Still waiting Allianz .
