We have taken out multiple travel policies with Allianz over the years with the belief that we would be covered in case of an emergency. We have never made a claim before. Now when we actually need help we are told that we are not covered!!! That because the ambulance took us to a public hospital they won't pay and that we are IDIOTS for purchasing their crap insurance and that we should have EHIC instead. Now we have to pay thousands out of pocket. I intend to report Allianz to the CCPC and the financial regulator, but I have a feeling they have found some loophole that allows them to operate this corruptly. We will have to use our credit cards to cover the thousands in debt. Congratulations Allianz you successfully scammed a 74 year old man in hospital. Well done hope you feel good This is the most blatant criminal thing I have ever witnessed.
