Following work performed by a Periodontist and information submitted to clearly demonstrate that the work was periodontics they rejected the claim stating it was standard dental work. Within Australia we even have the benefit of suppliers assigning codes to healthcare related work. This work fell under code 250 of the Australian Dental Association which is clearly defined as periodontics. A treatment plan stating it was periodontics and detailed notes from my Periodontist were also supplied.Policy number P002527485
