Disappointing experience with customer support

I bought a mobile device and soon realized it overheated during regular use. Within a week, I tried to initiate a return. After that, the support team ceased all communication.
Due to the lack of assistance, I escalated the matter to a payment platform. I was then told to return the device to a distant location, even though I am based in Germany and it was originally sent from another country. This direction seemed illogical and was not clearly explained.
After following those instructions and sending the device, the shipment was held during inspection in Germany. I later learned that shipping mobile devices from Germany to that location is prohibited. Consequently, the device is now stuck in inspection, I have no device, and I haven't received a refund.
This situation highlights a significant lack of accountability and effectiveness. Misleading instructions, inadequate communication, and neglecting customer inquiries directly contributed to this problem. I would highly recommend exercising caution, as the return process and after-sales support seem to be poorly managed.
