I’ve never left a negative review before, but I think that the more people who scream and shout ‘AVOID’ the better! In a nutshell, I’d broken down. I’d called multiple breakdown companies and all were unable to help me. Then I found ‘All Surrey Recovery’. First impressions: sympathetic to my situation, helpful and friendly. I was so impressed with their service and offer of help before 9am, I blindly gave my debit card details for a deposit without asking too many questions! When they didn’t show up on time, I was still impressed by the fact that the man on the phone told me that the mechanic was less than 5 minutes away. However, after multiple ‘he’s around the corner’ conversations and hours passing, I decided to terminate all transactions, accepting the fact that I’d lose my deposit and my car would remain ‘broken’. Had he have been honest about the delay, I’d 100% have stuck with them. Sadly, my £50 deposit for basically a phone conversation wasn’t enough! To summarise, I was told that £300 would be taken from my account (that they had my details of) and there was nothing I could do about it. When I argued that this was against the law, I was shouted down. At this point, I (perhaps wrongly) said that this was blatantly a scam and the last thing I heard was ‘you’re a f&@king scamming c&£T ’ on repeat. I hung up. No money has left my account. I’m a lucky one… but I’m also an idiot because on further inspection, the website is full of holes and on an insecure site. Please, please don’t be like me and avoid like the plague! Some things are too good to be true and this was a prime example of that! Police have been informed.
