I spontaneously booked this Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, to deepen my yoga practice, not necessarily to become a teacher. I loved the daily asana sessions, and I found the philosophy, anatomy, kriya, pranayama, and meditation classes really meaningful. The lead teacher, David, is exceptional, and his assistants, Nadine and Apo, were both great – patient, kind, and they gave us challenging Ashtanga MPS and Vinyasa flow classes.I didn't even know what Ashtanga was, as I'm more used to Power and Vinyasa flow at home, but I discovered it on the very first day. Looking back, I think doing an Ashtanga course is the perfect way to build a foundation for other yoga styles like Vinyasa and Rocket.I can't believe I didn't get tired of yoga after three intense weeks! I hope to keep it up weekly when I get back to Europe.The location in Nusa Lembongan is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of busy places like Ubud or Uluwatu and to fully focus on yoga. The shala is located directly on the beautiful beach and was a great spot to have a sunset beach baths.
