We booked - and prepaid for - a private transfer from the Zurich airport to our hotel in Lucerne. Travel day presented flight difficulties and we were rebooked on a later flight. Immediately upon learning of the later flight, we sent a text to Alptransfer.com, in addition to sending them a message via their app . We arrived in Zurich and after taking the phone off of airplane mode, we received a text from Alptransfer that the driver had waited and left. The driver left before our plane even landed! Our updated flight information was obviously not relayed to the driver (even though we reached out to them via two different means). Our first time in Zurich and no ride to our hotel. Our travel agent requested a refund, to which they refused. We prepaid Alptransfer.com $632 for transportation for a service we did not receive. We will be sure not to ever book through them again.
