I received a quotation from Altijd Raak Penders about a dashboard on a Peugeot 206, for 200€ (the part costs between 30€ and 60€, but it is difficult to find).I answer to the email with photos of my dashboard and I request photos from theirs, to be sure they have the right part. Altijd Raak Penders answer they have it, but now it is 350€, plus 30€ transport. And no photos of the part they claim to have, no VIN number, no serial numbers... nothing.I insist they send me at least three photos, and at least one of them shows the equipment tag with the serial numbers and all the part info. Altijd Raak Penders answer with to low-res photos taken from Google Lens, and while one of them shows the tag someone has carefully scrubbed out the serial numbers in it.My last email to Altijd Raak Penders was one requesting 1) a photo of the car the dashboard comes from, 2) a photo showing the serial numbers of the part, and 3) the chassis/VIN number of the car.And of course, Altijd Raak Penders went silent. So I took the time to go onto their website, use their used parts search tool, and it turns out Altijd Raak Penders do not have any dashboards for a Peugeot 206, regardless of the model. So it turns out Altijd Raak Penders was trying to scam me, by selling me a different auto part than the one I had requested, for 350€ when it costs between 30€ and 60€.As I am asked by Trustpilot to be constructive, I´d say a good way for Altijd Raak Penders to improve their service to customers would be to stop trying to scam people by asking ridiculous money for parts that cost a fraction of it.Another improvement Altijd Raak Penders could implement would be offering the actual parts requested by the client, and not something else that won´t fit or that comes from who knows where, given that they refuse to provide serial numbers and VIN codes. Finally, a third way for Altijd Raak Penders to improve their service would probably be saying, straight away, "we don´t have the part you´re looking for", instead of making a potential client lose time by pretending they have the part in the hopes he or she wouldn´t check properly and buy something else they do have.TL;DR: It´s a SCAM, DO NOT SHOP HERE!
