I rented a vehicle for two days and was quoted a daily price of 140 AED over the phone, with no mention of additional fees. They also took a cash deposit of 1500 AED and assured me it would be returned immediately upon returning the vehicle. However, after returning the car, I was unexpectedly told I incurred “extra km” charges at 5 AED per km, which is quite excessive. They failed to inform me about any km limitations or extra fees prior to the rental. Upon returning the car, they refused to return my cash deposit, stating I would have to wait 21 days, which is unreasonable for cash transactions. I am sharing this to ensure others are aware of potential hidden charges, unexpected fees, and delays in deposit returns. Be sure to clarify everything before renting a vehicle from them.
