At best, we averaged ~$6k/month in new marketing spend to generate only ~$4.5k gross—and most of that "success" was just our existing website customers being diverted to Amazon for free shipping, cannibalizing higher-margin website sales. Riley felt disengaged from day one. Our account rep was constantly traveling and seemed to forget what we’d aligned on each week and gave us the bare minimum, but was friendly. For us, this was an expensive, year-long mistake.
