This is an extremely deceptive site; they made multiple promises and failed to deliver. I have edited and published about 21 books. I thought I would give Amazon a try. It was a disaster. I have never had a worse experience with an editing team. Although the editors did respond to phone calls and emails. The formatting was a disaster; it was inconsistent throughout the book, and at times it even had page numbers in the middle of paragraphs.
It is worth mentioning that this was a historical book with references and photos, and I believe they really did not know how to format it. Perhaps if you have a very simple product with no references, bibliography, or photos, it may be worth a look. However, if your book has a table of contents, references, photos, or requires an index. Please save yourself the pain and look elsewhere. In my opinion, this was a waste of my money and time. I ended up without a product that I did not want my name on. I finally gave up - chalked it up to a learning experience and moved on.
