I had a great experience working with Miss Marina. She is professional, polite, and always keeps you updated throughout the shipping process. Everything was handled smoothly, and I would definitely work with her again in the future.
Bait & Switch Complete Fraudsters and thieves. Avoid at all costs, quoted me $450 total for the transfer of an SUV, on 8/13 over the phone and through email, signed with them and paid $150 deposit. They didn't call the day of pickup at the Honda Dealership they didn't even show up. When I followed up with them, they told me they couldn't pick up until two days later and the price was now $1097 to ship the vehicle. When I got upset, they told me too bad we have signed contract for the whole amount. LOL. This company is made up of mostly non English speaking lying fraudsters. Buyer beware.
This is a bait and switch autotransporter broker. They are a broker and do not have any trucks to transport cars. They will say anything to get you to pay a deposit and after you do they will then try and treble the price and if you don't agree to the new fee which is MUCH HIGHER than any other quotation they will keep your deposit. Elif Shafak was the person responsible for the bait and switch. American CarShip have 6 OUTSTANDING complaints with the Better Business Bureau and ALL 10 of their YELP reviews are 1 star. ALL TEN. There is even a Redditt thread where they are singled out as being the worst of the worst. Remember they are a broker and do not have any trucks to ship your vehicles. They get your deposit and then post the job on a board that ALL the broker companies use and drivers with trucks look at the board and bid on what route they will consider based on how many other cars they already have going on that same route as an autoloader can take up to 8 cars at a time. So American CarShip are one of MANY MANY Brokers, but they are definitely one of the worst if not that very WORST.
WORST COMPANY. WARNING. DO NOT USE. Liars and crooks. What they quote you is not the price...not even close. Double or triple your price. Also, picked up my cars without approval for the price. A car carrier is on the way expecting to get paid and he is not. Again, beware of these crooks. Also, not accredited with the Better Business Bureau for a good reason.
Beware of Scam! This company will give you a very competitive quote and then 2 days before shipment will QUADRUPLE the price! Their scam is that the original driver who they arranged now doesn’t have the appropriate insurance. They will guarantee not to worry…then the only available driver cost FOUR TIMES as much. They will lie and say that this driver is going out of his way to accommodate you. The actual driver denied this and states he was booked in the standard fashion.
I would tell everyone to avoid this company. They use deceptive business practices. Their initial price in the order is worthless as they come back at the time of shipment with a price 3 times the initial price putting the blame on the carrier. They also then claim you owe them a broker fee which is no where stated in the order.
