We are a DIY Education based SaaS website with the primary aim of helping educate our users on how to repair, service and DIY...So we’ve been working with AM Navigator for around a year now, and to put it bluntly it’s been a brilliant experience. At first, I was a bit sceptical, in the sense I’d never heard of them, but over the years I’ve learned about affiliate marketing myself so I knew exactly what I was looking for. When we took on AM Navigator we were moving away from the Rakuten Accelerate Program and bringing it in-house via an OPM agency. We had a number of calls with the director, Geno and the lovely lady managing our account - Liz. It was so refreshing to actually speak to people who were passionate about affiliate marketing rather than people just making up numbers (take note Rakuten Accelerate Team). To put some context into this, when we moved from ShareASale, self-managing the channel ourselves, we were turning over 40k/month on the affiliate channel alone. When we moved to the Rakuten Accelerate Team, this dipped to 6k/month over 12 months. We were livid... When we took on AM Navigator the first job was trying to migrate over to ShareASale again, a big task in itself, when trying to manage 500+ affiliates. And with the help of Nick (Geno’s brother), we did it, and we are slowly getting back to some kind of normality. We are being introduced to brands we’d never heard of, and MoM we are going from strength to strength. Not back to 40k/month levels, but we are heading in the right direction now… Forget the mainstream OPMs that charge an arm and a leg. The PartnerCentric’s, Acceleration Partner’s, Gen3’s, and definitely the Rakuten Accelerate Team, stay well away. AM Navigator may not be as big as these, but at least you have a small dedicated account manager pulling strings. And then there’s Geno, who just seems to know everyone and everything about affiliate marketing / OPM’s that there is to know and a wealth of knowledge doing stuff behind the scenes for you. I mean, who else can say that they can cut a deal with ShareASale to reduce commission fees down to way less than their default?
