Went to see concert at Resort Arena in Birmingham on Friday 17th May 2024.Arrived at venue over 1/2 hour prior to event starting.Huge queues meant we were seated 15 mins after performance started.We were by no means the last.Mr Rieu teased the arena about late arrivals-pity he hadn’t taken the time to liaise with the organisers to put start time back.Similar farce following interval as there didn’t appear to be any bell to signal return to seats.This resulted in Mr Rieu sarcastically addressing the audience and asking “is there only one toilet”.The man himself didn’t do much for the entire concert apart from declaring how good his performers and team were and demanding applause constantly.All in all a massive disappointment and unclear as to what the show was actually meant to be.Very corny to say the least.There are many more sophisticated performers out there.Wouldn’t contemplate recommending in any way.
