I placed an order, mistakenly having it delivered to my home address when I needed next day to my airbnb for an event this weekend. I contacted customer services through their contact form online. I was told that my order could neither be cancelled, nor amended to send it to the correct address. I then thought, worst case I'll just return them when i get home, so I went and ordered another pair, this time to the right address. Only went and chose standard instead of next day delivery. Again, AH claim they cannot cancel or amend an order once dispatched. Because this second order was 3-5days I requested for it to be cancelled. It's taken them 45mins to reply to my last message, only for to say they've just check and unfortunately it's dispatched, no cancelling no amending possible. I'm £260 down now, no trainers, and no way of getting the money back any time soon.I should've bought from a reputable retailer instead. IN 2024 an eCommerce business doesn't have the ability to amend or cancel an order? Aside from being difficult to get hold of (much rather call in) they're clearly not in a hurry resolve any customer queries
