Unauthorized charge of $200 while I was asleep
On April 9, 2026 at 3:53 AM (Taiwan Time), a $200 Claude Max 20x gift subscription was purchased on my account without my authorization while I was sleeping. I also found 3 unknown
active sessions in my account that were updated around the same time — I have since terminated them.
I have contacted Anthropic support requesting a refund and investigation. This appears to be a pattern — other users have reported similar unauthorized gift purchases on their
accounts.
