Claim to be Australian company. The website gives accounts of Australians having their car stolen and how it could be avoided with their lock. From all accounts, it appears to be Australian. So when I saw the 50% off, I bought 2 locks. There is no mention of the price being in US$. I only found out when I saw the amount charged to my credit card.I’ve reported the company to ACCC for deceptive and deliberately misleading practices. After receiving a patronising explanation about the company’s practice of billing in US$, I responded requesting a full refund. They did a “full” refund but it fell short of what I was charged due to currency conversion rates.I believe that all businesses selling online in Australia should be required to show prices in AUD by default, unless clearly showing any other pricing currency beside each item listed for sale. Failure to do so should result in massive fines and automatic refunds to duped consumers
