I am disappointed with miscommunications due to confusion as a result of promises made and not met.- The key miscommunication is that the sales team never communicated that the items list for quotation has to be accurate, meaning 99.99% accurate. Failing to do so will result in the transport service denying the service, or asking for a random amount of money last minute, when they reach the location.- This key information can make or break a person's experience.- In my case, it happened too. The transport company arrived and started adhering to the list of items I chose for the quotation, and of course it was not accurate 99.99%. - This resulted me time, stress, and ultimately an incomplete job, when a transport company left an entire storage room full of things behind, with a condition to take those items if I pay at least 30% more.- AnyVan's sales team did not tell the transport company about the change in the movement job. In my case, the move had to be done in two parts: one, pick up things from the apartment, and keep them in storage for one month, then pick up things from the storage and drop them in the new apartment.- AnyVan's sales team is a typical example of how they will make all promises until the full payment is made for the service, and then they will not talk to you at all to solve the problems. Your call will go to the customer service team, where the team will speak like they were a recorded automation machine. - The customer service is very slow (but empathetic) and opaque. They will never speak with the transport team in a conference call in case of a conflict. And more often than not, they will lean towards the transport company and trust everything they say without asking for proof.- Another instance is with the movement job, which they canceled because transport company told them that I asked them to cancel the job. AnyVan's team trusted the transport company without asking for any proof from them, and withheld my payment. I did escalate the matter, and currently waiting for the resolution on two things - movement of my things, or the refund for the incomplete job. - Overall, I am completely dissatisfied with the service. I will never recommend such a poor company.- Fun fact, AnyVan is merely an aggregator website. They connect you to a transport company, and they take their cut.
