If you want to understand why second-hand car dealers have a dodgy reputation go to Jemca Toyota Edgware Road. If I am being charitable I would say they are incompetent; if I'm being honest I'd say that once they have your money they couldn't care less.We bought a car from them for £22K; wasn't ready when we were supposed to take delivery, was promised for 9.00 the next day but came 3 hours late, came with very noticeable scratches on the external paintwork and no spare key...the saga goes on for more than 2 months until they finally sorted it. They even had our car in for 3 days to have it resprayed and returned it having done absolutely nothing.The saleperson we dealt with wasn't remotely interested in sorting out our issues and never bothered to return our calls. We tried going higher up the chain and had pretty much the same experience. Their sales team and their service department seem incapable of liaising.Overall it was a nightmare and I'd never go back there again.
