Was advised 23rd Dec that a company in Leeds was shipping a parcel from Leeds to me in Inverness. DHL was the courier and they made contact very promptly and advised me, as expected, that delivery was due Monday 29th due to the holidays. Awoke today, 24th Dec, to a message advising that parcel was out for delivery and was only a few stops away.Driver was very pleasant and parcel was in perfect condition (no chucking it over the fence or on the roof). A very nice surprise and further proof that DHL are now the most efficient and reliable carrier in this area. Unlike other carriers here, they deliver to the customer instead of taking parcels hostage for 2 weeks :). Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
