A christmas cookie box from an independent bakery was scheduled to arrive yesterday. I was home the entire day and provided a safe place to leave the parcel in case no one was home. I received a notification that I was missed and no one was home which was untrue. I was hopeful that today it would arrive (christmas eve) but the same notice that I was not home (when I was) appeared in my inbox again this morning. Incredibly disappointing given that it is a perishable item and even if it does ever get delivered, the cookies will be days old and it won’t be christmas anymore. On top of this issue DHL makes it difficult to actually talk to a real person and have any sort of timely resolution. seriously i will never have anything perishable delivered through them again!
