Really think you should be able to give less than 1 star!!! When it's coming up to Christmas most other businesses will employ extra staff expecting that Christmas will be a busy period. As this is expected I don't think Christmas is a good enough reason for a delay. I had ordered a delivery from Germany. Parcel was dispatched on the 12th of December. Arrived in Ireland on the 17th. Emailed GLS on the 19th and to this day I have received no response to my email. I followed up a few times. I had ordered Petfood and I was going away on the 23rd to visit family and had needed the food for my pets while I was away. I contacted the supplier who was excellent at responding. I had to go out and buy other petfood to ensure I wasn't left short. The supplier even went so far as so say they would need to deem the parcel 'lost' and resend a new one out to me. It eventually arrived out on the 29th. I'm not sure GLS are aware that their role is to deliver parcels or customer service. both foreign concepts to them. Fastway used to be the worse couriers and now that they have gone bust the torch has been passed on to GLS. I have actually veered away from ordering from companies that openly list GLS as their courier service.
