I had a listing I contacted for a trailer that ended up being a SCAM! They used boompay.col to process 2 applications we paid $49 each. The entire thing was awful and now I’m going to have to do all the identity theft reports to keep ourselves safe from and fraud that could be committed using our socials and names. Also I got refunded for only one application. The lady called and claimed to be working with island communities in Indiana her name was “Angel White” her number is (317) 435-7315. Also the woman who got me in contact with her called herself “Charlene” and her number is +1 (689) 304-4045. She claimed to be with Indiana Estates which is not even real. She seemed very sweet on the phone but we have applied to so many rentals and rent to owns that I should have been more thorough before applying but after the fact I looked at my voicemail and realized she had previously left a voicemail saying Indiana estates but then the internet said the property on Joe st in Huntington was owned by Island communities. And the address on apartment guide said property management was through realtor.com the girl from boompay.com went by chell and it seemed like she knew exactly who did it and what was going on. I let them know they are committing crimes and will end up in prison if they keep it up. I got refunded partially and so I think it made them realize at least a little they are in trouble bc I reported them to the federal government and the police.
