I was told five minutes before my test that I wasn’t going to be put in for it. However the instructor thought I would have been perfectly fine after only another five hours or so. It was highly implied that because I wasn’t a guarantee pass I wouldn’t be entered as it would go down as a fail for the instructor and the driving school, which would bring down their pass percentage. My instructor advised me (extremely unethical behaviour) to book a GP appointment, lie and say I have a migraine so I can attempt to get my money back for my test. To further note on this subject he had just advised me that I will not be proceeding with the test five minutes before, I was completely taken a back and am left out of pocket by £68 (test fee) then further I should spend another £20 on wasting a nhs doctors time for a fake certificate. I should have been told this information the day before, which could have given me the time to contact someone I know to use their car. Or at least cancelled the test which could have gone to someone else as a cancellation as it’s so hard to get a test.On top of this I am still awaiting a response to an email of complaint sent five days ago.
