I would highly recommend A People's Choice to anyone going thru the Probate process. They were actually referred to me by a lawyer. My Probate wasn't very complicated, and it saved me thousands of dollars using this service. The process is a little daunting at first and all the legal talk is intimidating. My Probate was in California, and I live in Texas so having someone there in CA who knows the court, the laws, paperwork needed, and process was immensely helpful. They helped set my expectations on how long the whole process takes. It begins with an online information gathering process thru their portal. They walk you thru step by step. I had an assigned person that answered all my questions as we went along. Thank you, Sandra McCarthy! They didn't overwhelm you with everything at once. I was even able to call them in emergencies and last-minute paperwork needed for court. Response times were great. I'm grateful I had this service available. Thank you, A People's Choice!

Unauthorized practice of law!!! Preparing legal documents illegally. Advertising paralegal services unlawfully. Owner who claims to not own this company is not registered or certified to be doing any type of legal document or paralegal services!! She is exploiting people and guilty of many ca law violations. DO NOT hire this rogue deceptive company A People's Choice or A People's Choice Legal Documents Inc. U will be charged way more with A People's Choice than u would any attorney. And even if the attorney was more at least the attorney would be knowledgeable courteous and follow thru.A People's Choice charges a flat fee just to select service. She charges for every single task broken down into steps after the flat fee. She has sloppy work. Tons of errors! Forms rejected. Etc. And she's not is certified / registered/ licensed to do any of these legal services she advertises to the general public. Do yourself a huge favor and do not do business with A People's Choice aka A People's Choice Legal Documents Inc. She owns more companies doing similar to same services so make sure u fo your research avoid getting ripped off and delaying your matter even more. She is a fraud! Report her !!
So I've been wasting several weeks of my time trying to get probate started on my father's intestate, and have been having all sorts of issues with documents from the superior courts website not being able to be filed. I finally got sick of it and started calling lawyers and paralegal. Eventually I found People's Choice and setup one of their free 15 minute phone calls and I honestly didn't expect much.Boy was I pleasantly surprised.Rather than try to convince me that I needed to spend money immediately with their company, Sandra, the woman who i had my call with, she asked me some questions and let me explain what was going on, before informing me that due to the size and contents of the estate, I didn't even NEED to do probate! She was extremely knowledgeable and caring and just genuinely seemed interested in helping me rather than trying to get paid.I was astonished and still am. Do yourself a favor and setup an interview, it costs you nothing but 15 minutes of time and for me, it took tons of stress off my shoulders knowing I didn't need to worry about filing for probate. THANK YOU!!!!!
I urge everyone who has had a negative experience with woman who owns A People's Choice Inc,, A People's Choice Legal Documents Inc., to report her to all appropriate agencies immediately!!Consumers deserve better protection from the harms of exploitative registered legal document assistants / contract paralegal and legal consultants like her at A People's Choice. She continues to get away with contractually exploiting consumers bcuz the penalties are not even a slap on the hand to her if she gets caught. Pays people to remove her negative reviews. The good reviews are lies. She needs to be held accountable. It's not right to pay to have real reviews removed and allow more consumers to unfairly be taken advantage of by A People's Choice. She failed to review emails & her sloppily prepared forms before sending them to the portal for my review and signature me which means she doesn't even proof read her own work. Expect an abundance of errors bcuz nothing meticulous exists like she advertises online. Even her own website had numerous spelling errors and contradicting details wirh false advertising throughout until i posted these reviews. She removed her fake testimonials and changed things up. And yeah, I'm aware we're all “human” and mistakes “happen” and Paralegals are not immune to making mistakes BUT the amount of errors in the forms she prepared was ridiculous. Legal Documents are nothing to play with and the smallest error could delay harm or cost extremely. The service she provided was significantly below standards!! If she wasnt so rude, deceptive and unprofessional the errors may have not been as big of a deal but the fraudulent activity with serveral different contracts and without my consent is unacceptable. She told me she couldnt answer if the could efile for me until i gave permission. Next thing i know im tricked into a contract. She said 7-10 days, took 16, i tried to cancel before deadline but i was intentionally disregarded with an excuse why my email directly to her was rejected. Never responds thoughtfully or personalizes interactions. Lacks interpersonal skills. Ineffective Communication. Poor rapport. Excessive prices, micro tasking every step and substeps & charging for each individual task. No flat fees exist. She charges fees, costs, and expenses. Misc and incidentals just in case. She overvalues her poorly performed services exorbitantly. She removes metadata details from files and modifies dates. Do not trust or work with A People's Choice or A People's Choice Legal Documents Inc or any affiliated names or owners for apeopleschoice.com. Fake testimonials and fake reviews!! Believe all the negative ones. I wish I would've read reviews. She also claims I demanded my filing for free!! That's false. I had a fee wavier that she refused to allow me to submit. But even if she allows it like she advertises online she charges u a fee on top of the court site fee. Go to elegal.com They are free with fee wavier. Do the forms urself or hire an educated lawyer. A lawyer would've only been $250 for my filing and she charged $849 flat fee for preparation only and asked for more money. Forms rejected and it was a completely misleading fraudulent experience that people need to be warned about!! Don't even trust trustpilot!! They allow businesses to flag honest reviews and keep fake 5 Star reviews !! Yelp does same thing. Can't trust anyones review sites apparently. Sad. If she were held accountable she wouldn't still be taking advantage of consumers or have an LDA privilege. Her history of revocations/ suspensions were just a slap on the hand unfortunately.
They are the absolute worse. They took 575.00 this was only for first 3 pages of my divorce. My understanding it was for the divorce process. You fill out your papers online. They offer absolutely no help through this process. I tried to explain it wouldn't let me finish. Their response it was complete. Tgey sent me screen shot of totally blank section. They said it was complete.WTF how is it complete if it's blank. They said it would be another 100.00 to ask a question. And 100.00 fir each additional question. These people suck and just take your money for nothing. I had to pay another company to fix their mistakes that they refuse ti fix. They need to be shut down immediately. ITS A TOTAL SCAM. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.... I will stand by my review. I have the emails and log of all calls. And I was also informed by the court house not to waste 1 more penny on the Joke of Company. They take your money with no problem. From there the nightmare begins. They will bleed you dry. I will once again .Don't notusethem and waste your time!!!!!!!@
This process is perfect for people who can mutually agree on terms and need a way to file with no unnecessary legal fees. I recommend coming to terms before you start. It was a relief and a pleasure to work with A people’s Choice. I’m grateful they exist!
A People's Choice made the probate process really straight forward. They took the hassle out of me attempting to file the paperwork on my own. In addition, it was less expensive than hiring a probate attorney.
