Desperate to avoid responsibility

Engineer claimed our installation paperwork was lying (although he hadn't seen it) and that the magnaclean hadn't been emptied cleaned during the previous 2 services (again claiming paperwork confirming it had been was wrong, although he didn't open to look himself to see if it were clean).Very eager to blame anyone else for the issue and repeatedly said it wasn't a boiler fault.All installation requirements were followed and documented, all services since were also on spec and documented but still the boiler failed after only 2.5 years. Invoice from boiler co but no written info on why they were charging us/what the issue was officially recorded as etc, only a bill.No email receive details asking for the reasons several times. Only response to this issue was here, and inaccurate.
