We have been using ARMember for several years now and we are very satisfied with the plugin itself. It was very reasonably priced and did not use a subscription scheme. Since our initial installation, we have had several updates and these work very well.ARMember has many more features than we need but covers our membership needs very well. It links well with our payment system and with WooCommerce allowing us to give discounts to our members. We can email renewal reminders and even follow-up reminders. It allows us to give different membership groups access to normally hidden web-pages. This access system fits well with Wordpress pages and menu items.On logging in, members can be directed to specific welcome pages appropriate to their membership group.I would like to be able to email specific membership groups but don't think that is possible.We had support from ARMember for the first year or so and found it absolutely excellent. HOWEVER, now that we would like to renew our support we find that Envato, the seller for ARMember, will only extend support if we buy the product again. Otherwise I would award this product 5 stars.POSTSCRIPT: I have attempted to follow the advice offered by ARMember. When I clicked the renew support link, I was directed to a page that said $56 for ARMember plugin, $3 for handling fee, $13.57 for VAT all totalling $72.57. (1) This does not look like support and (2) in Europe we usually display full prices rather than pre-tax amounts.
