Update: Since I got a refund for non delivery of my plant, I started looking elsewhere and found an identical website, with identical plants, pricing, that just happens to have the same business phone number as Artificial Plants Shop. The galling part of it is all, is both websites claim that this particular item is in stock for delivery within 10 days. In 4 months they couldn’t get my order to me, so this false advertising strategy is clearly deliberate. I would personally avoid this company and their other company trading as replicaplants.co.uk Previously bought several artificial UV bamboo plants for my garden in 2020. It is worthwhile noting that at that time delivery took longer than expected and as we had paid for a landscaping service the delivery delays contributed to a delay in the garden project.We have since decided to add another to the garden and purchased one to match the others on 24 December 2022. We were shocked at the price gouging given these are now almost double what we paid for them previously, but needed a plant that would match the others.On 5 January 2023, I was told it was not in stock but would I accept an indoor plant instead? No, I paid for an outdoor plant which I assume is higher priced than an indoor plant and I needed it to match the previous. I get told my plant is on back order and there will be a delay of 4 weeks which I agree to.Follow up on 12 March 2023 and get offered a different outdoor bamboo plant instead on 13 March 2023. Reiterate that I need a matching plant given I’ve already purchased 7 bamboo plants previously, and receive no further response.Can only assume seller has no intention of fulfilling my order so I’ve had to report them to PayPal for a refund.TLDR: make sure the item you want is in stock, or you may never get it.
