As other customers have remarked, this company is in CHINA, not in the UK or Europe, as indicated on their website. On top of that, they falsely presented a product as a 75-centimeter "AKARI A Series" pendant light fixture - as if it were the Noguchi original - and listed it at the usual AKARI 75A price of around 1000€, marked down to 525€. So I, of course, imagined that it was a genuine AKARI-manufactured product. A few hours after ordering, I saw that they had very cheap copies of another designer lamp I was familiar with and contacted them. They then admitted that the fixture was an "Akari-style" pendant, and not the genuine article. I immediately tried to cancel that same day. They dragged their feet for another day or two, and finally said they couldn't stop shipment, but that I could return it for a 100% refund. Like others, when it finally arrived - one month later - I saw that it had been shipped from China, and that I, like others, was obligated to return it to China to get my refund... which would cost me hundreds of dollars for such an oversized package. After much negotiating, they finally agreed to refund just 50% of the cost, without returning the product. (They clearly didn't even want it back.) These people are extremely unprofessional and, indeed, scam artists! To be avoided at all costs.
