We have used all sorts of dishwasher tablets ranging from cheaper own-brand to more expensive products and never had a problem…….until we bought some Astonish All in One tablets. What a mistake that was! The results were worse than not using a tablet at all. Not only were there numerous food residues left on articles but crockery, cutlery and spatulas came out without their normal shine and with a gritty surface feel. We tried the tablets in both the 65deg wash and the 50deg wash but the results were equally awful both times.Two other comments. First, Astonish make a big deal about being an environmentally friendly company promoting local products yet these tablets are manufactured in China! Second, their refund policy is worse than useless and not one of a company that has confidence in its products. Products have to be returned within 14 days, unopened and in a resaleable condition. How can the customer identify a product as unsatisfactory without opening the packet and trying it?! Surely this must contradict a customer’s statutory rights.
