My dog and I were blessed to find Julie. She is skilled, perceptive, and dedicated to her trade. My dog had a long history of neglect/abuse. He presented big challenges, but Julie was influential in helping us make great strides. I love her approach to training. It is all about positive reinforcement, with activities designed to bring out the dog's best choices. There are no shock collars or top down control techniques. Everything is designed to help your dog become a happy and well adjusted animal.My dog was 5 years in to fearful and maladjusted coping mechanisms when I rescued him, so we continue to use the training strategies we learned through Julie. We have made incredible progress, but we have a longer road to travel than most.

We specialize in behavior modification (reactivity, anxiety, separation related behaviors, etc) but are happy to train basic obedience, household manners, puppy foundations, as well as service dog task and public access training. I'm a certified AKC Evaluator so I can also provide Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Training and Evaluations.
