I lost thousands of dollars with this EMR company. They put claims on hold that should not be on hold. When my billers try to push claims to the payors Athena would put the claim back on hold based on criteria from Athena not from the payor. Their customer support has deriorated with time becoming more and more inaccessible. I would give them a 3 for the other functions (appointment reminders, patient portal ...) But at the end of the day if the practice does not make any money what difference does it make if you have a nice note or good patient portal with no money to show for it!?!?!?
