Awful experience. Went through online platform (15 day bidding platform with countdown) twice for same property (a 2 bed in Hampton, closer to Ballymun than Finglas tbf)- was highest bidder at deadline on second time at €22k over asking. Vendors then demanded another €13k “at least” to go Sale Agreed- pure greed and mockery of a system that buyers engage with in good faith. Why set the asking price at €40k lower than you are “willing” to accept? Turns out they wanted to go back to the top bidder from the first online platform process (though they hadn’t engaged with the second) and then tried to play both of us off against each other- no thanks!! Absolute waste of time and energy. Wouldn’t go near this Estate Agents again.Very poor communication and lack of information from Lee- hadn’t a clue about the property.Would not recommend at all.
