I made contact with AUDI retrofits to sort out a volume issue I had with my Bluetooth. Their website looks quite professional and glossy enough with lots of photos but the customer service is far from that. I got told that the diagnostic fee will be £50 and that was reiterated when I got an email from them which was quite curt, abrupt and borderline rude...no manners, no courtesy or gratitude for custom. I also enquiried about getting some tail light upgrades which I was told would cost £300 but was then asked to pay £150 into an account as a deposit?!!!! That just sounded very suspicious to me and I was not about to pay money into an account for someone I had never met, I declined having the lights done and said I will go ahead with having the Bluetooth volume looked at. I made my way to the appointment I was given and arrived at this dingy, backyard premises that I literally had to squeeze my car through a whole heap of junk cars to get there. I initially thought I had the wrong address as there was no one there but when I called AUDI retrofits and told them I was at the premises but their didn't seem to be anyone there, I was told they had 'forgotten ' about my appointment and if I didn't mind waiting someone would be down as soon as possible. 'Ash' I believe his name is, then said it will be 40 minutes before he got to me and I could grab a coffee at a nearby costa coffee while I waited for him to turn up! Cowboy outfit, avoid at all costs!
