The program itself it great. Coming from Canada, it was extremely easy to get my visa and everyone I’ve worked with has been great! The experience has been incredible and I love my placement and I got very lucky with my host family. From my agent in Canada to my community counsellor everyone has been so helpful and resourceful. This program has been running for decades now and I think it shows through how structured the program is, however, I think there’s always room for improvement so if I could give feedback I would say that the minimum stipend should be raised, although I get paid more than the minimum I hear many other Au Pairs don’t and especially living in upper classes parts of America it can be very expensive.
