My experience with Au Pair in America was great. From start to beginning, they where really helpful and supportive with everything and always made sure to have someone listen to me. My counselor (and the one helping out while mine was on vacation) was amazing. So supportive and I could not have wished for a better one(s). This journey gave me so much that I can't still believe I am living my dream in the USA. I am sticking with this quote: I'd rather look back at my life and say "I can't believe I did that!" Instead of sayin, "I wish I did that..."This is amazing chance to see and explore America, get better in English, experience American culture, work with kids, found a second family/second home and make memorable moments in your life. I am grateful to be called an au pair. Only what I can say...Dreams can come true, you just not let the fear of unknown to consume you. Go For your dreams!

Every experience abroad will become a unique story to tell!You have to expect plenty of ups and downs, but I felt supported by APIA all throughout the programme. Part of this cultural exchange costs a lot of stepping-out-of-your-comfort-zone. Especially at a young age, this can be scary! Not just for me, but also for my parents. Getting introduced to this agency, through an event in my home country, not only made me feel confident with embarking into this adventure, but also gave my parents peace of mind. Their rich resources of professional knowledge and experience really helped me be prepared and enjoy my time to the fullest. I will cherish having had this opportunity forever!
