Very disappointed. Would not recommend for anyone with lipedema . Aurelia offered me money to remove my negative After submitting the above below I was contacted my a member of Auralia’s management team, he informed me they take reviews seriously feedback seriously and would like to offer a complimentary consultation with Dr. Xavier to discuss additional treatment options. They believed there could be beneficial alternatives, like specialized laser treatments, and if recommended by Dr. Xavier & will offer this free of charge. I paid for vaser lipo not a cheaper alternative. I was asked to revisit my online review as they would like the opportunity to rectify the situation and restore my confidence in their services. I requested Auralia to look at the photos the day from the of procedure & the photos taken a week after the procedure, areas marked out were definitely not done and sent photos 10 weeks afterwards to show there wasn’t any different. I was again offered a follow up consultation with the surgeon and a refund of €800 to remove my online review, they felt the gesture reflected their commitment to my satisfaction and our confidence in the quality of our procedures. I refused and requested for the procedure to be redone or a full refund and was then asked to meet with Dr Salman their medical director. Auralia wanted the review to be taken down as it before any further meetings or offerings as it in line with their policy to engage constructively without the pressure of public opinion influencing clinical decisions.The clinical director I was dealing with initiated a freedom of information request on my behalf, I had to contact Aurelia almost 9 weeks later and I didn’t receive the information, a ridiculous excuse given , my eircode was rejected by DPD, I wasn’t contacted by any staff member to confirm my address, even though I submitted my drivers licence prior to the procedure , indicative of their incompetence, finally received the pictures and it’s clear the areas marked out on the day of the surgery, no bruising on the front of one thigh and minimal bruising on the other thigh. Pictures taken myself after the procedure and pictures from Aurelia show same.This clinic advertise they offer vaser lipo for lipedema, my experience is the opposite. I paid €5300 for the procedure, they are quoting a much high price now and the difference is barely visible. Would not recommend this clinic. They don’t care about patients satisfaction they only care about negative reviews. I asked simple questions that that were left unanswered. The surgical director informed me he was ending communication with me, despite his best efforts, redoing the procedure or a refund was not within their best efforts only a lesser non invasive procedure. I was informed from this point onwards their legal representatives will be on the only ones engaging with me in future.Met with a surgeon, requested 360 vaser lipo and full thighs & knees, surgeon confirm this was possible. I was given a price, given the date & paid in full. Email received the following day confirming procedure & date, the knees were not included in the email received, contacted Aurelia and had to pay an additional €800 as this was not included in the initial price.Met a different surgeon on the day, pointed out the areas I wanted done and was told certain parts could not be done ( informed the surgeon I was told this was possible at consultation stage) . Staff in the clinic were lovely, upon leaving I asked what volume of fat was removed and asked could I see a picture, I was told I could see it next week at the follow up consultation.Bruising was minimal, no stiffness, small amount of swelling and was not sore, could have returned to work the next day. When for follow up consultation, met a different surgeon, took a couple of pictures and checked the incisions, asked could I see the picture of fat removal and was told it would be emailed, I never received the email. 2 months on from the procedure and very disappointed with the results, areas marked out on the day to be done are still the same now. Spent a a lot of money and took time off work. Would definitely not recommend.
