Very awful experience,,I'm advising everyone to not make any bookings with them.
Our flight was delayed with 30 minutes in Milan Malpensa Thursday night on the 2.04.2026.
We called them to let them know we will be late,but no one pick up.
When we arrive there at the location we realize Budget Avis office they close.I mentioned I booked with PlanetRentalcarsHire,wich is the third party,and the supplier was Budget who was meant to provide the car. I called them several times no one pick up. I had to book a taxi to be able to get to the hotel in that night. I comeback yesterday Friday Morning.04.2026 in the morning at the airport to get my car. Avis Budget they opened at 7.30,
I had the surprise to tell me they cannot provide any car because the reservation is not any more available ,the reservation they told me was only Friday available, is not theirs problem,the fligh was late and I didnt pick up the car. In order to be able to peak up the car they told me to call PlanetRentalcar to change the date on the reservation for 03.04.2026. I called them 45 times no one pick up. I send them 5 emails, still no answer. I end up renting another car from Avis,obviously on my own cost. Even now at the moment I have no answer from them,no emails, no nothing.
I will report them to Citizen Advices,Ombudsman ,and i will take them in the court.This company should not exist on the market,because they are fraud,massive scameers.
