Last week, I visited the Malaga Post Office near my workplace to get passport-size photos taken for immigration purposes. I provided the required photo guidelines to the staff member, an Asian lady (not intending to be discriminatory), who assured me everything would be fine. However, upon uploading the photo to the immigration website, I received an error stating: *"The image must take 50-70% of the width."*The next day, I returned to the same post office and coincidentally dealt with the same lady. I politely explained the issue and showed her the error, hoping for a solution. Instead of helping, she started arguing with me and refused to accept responsibility for the problem. The way she spoke made it feel like I was at fault. I repeated my concern twice, but she stuck to her stance, leaving me no choice but to leave. What frustrated me further was that the Postmaster with the red badge, who clearly overheard the conversation, ignored the entire situation and refused to step in or assist—perhaps because it was nearing closing time. Eventually, I went to a different post office closer to my home. The staff there were understanding and explained that I could have requested a refund, which the Malaga branch never mentioned. They retook my photo according to the correct guidelines, and I successfully uploaded it with no further issues. This ordeal wasted two days of my time due to a simple staff error and the unprofessional, unhelpful attitude at Malaga Post Office. The staff there appear unwilling to admit mistakes and prefer to argue instead of resolving issues. For anyone needing reliable service, I strongly recommend avoiding the Malaga Post Office. As a customer, I expected better service from Australia Post, but this experience was both frustrating and disappointing.
