Been with Autoaid many years and up until now would always have rated them 5 stars and recommended them to others. But having had to use them this Bank Holiday weekend all that has changed. When I called the breakdown number I got directed to use their app or website, instead of being able to talk to a real human being. Using the app took far longer than any phone call would have been, as it was a total faff. I'm sure there are people out there that love an app for everything, but some of us don't!And this morning I've just been called and told I have to pay an additional £25 as my car is over 10 years old. All my cars have always been over 10 years old, and never before have I been charged extra. And what relevance is the age of a car when the cause of the breakdown are 2 flat tyres? Auto renew has been cancelled and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
