I joined an autobidding service that charges between R2 200 and R3 500 per month. The system claims to help users win freelance projects automatically, but in practice, hundreds of people are paying monthly fees while earning little or nothing back. From what I and many others have experienced, the following issues keep repeating:- The software pushes everyone to use the same freelance platform (freelancer.com), and many users soon find their accounts suspended or limited after connecting it. Money will not be refunded as this is "simply not his problem".- The “Deactivate” or “Cancel Subscription” button doesn’t work, and multiple community members have complained about being unable to stop recurring payments.- The subscription renews automatically each month, even after cancellation attempts.- New users are constantly being added, even though most existing subscribers appear unable to make any real money or a return on their investment and is then met with "you were too lazy to make it work".- People get suspended from Freelancer.com, even without doing anything yet, simply because so many people have subscribed and oversaturated the platform.- Marketing posts inside the community showcase supposed “huge client wins,” but they appear to represent the subscription money coming in from paying users rather than verified freelance income. Christopher's own Freelancer profile is not getting any reviews which means he is not actively busy with projects. He then claims that he get's clients from outside the platform by leveraging his Freelancer profile, but is unable to provide any real proof that the huge amounts did in fact come from a real client. This review is shared to help others make an informed decision before paying for the service. If you are already subscribed, monitor your billing closely and contact your bank directly to stop recurring payments.
