Initially a frustrating experience, but Autodoc turned it around in the end

Original issue: I ordered a tyre pressure sensor for my 2016 Mercedes A207, paid extra for the “guaranteed compatibility” option, and received a cheap knock-off part that was actually for a BMW. Very disappointing start.)After I posted my original 2-star review here on Trustpilot and cancelled the order, Autodoc reached out quickly. Instead of just processing a refund, they offered to replace it with the correct Mercedes-compatible sensor at no extra cost. I accepted the replacement, they arranged collection of the wrong item, and the correct part arrived exactly within the timeframe they promised.The sensor is now fitted and working perfectly.The only remaining minor point is that I’m still waiting for the small credit for the price difference between the original (more expensive) wrong item and the replacement, but they’ve confirmed it’s being processed.Overall, the beginning was far from acceptable and cost me unnecessary time and hassle (plus the original delivery fee I was initially out of pocket for), but I have to give them credit for stepping up once the problem was highlighted. They accepted responsibility, communicated clearly, and ultimately got me the right part without further charges.Not the smoothest first experience, but they fixed it properly in the end. Happy to raise this to 4 stars and would now order from them again.
