No compassion

My mother unfortunately passed, we paid for the funeral then discovered she had a cremation policy. I contacted the company and explained that the funeral was complete. We asked if the policy could be refunded, they said we would have to go to probate. We estimated it was a little over £1,000, a very small amount, this company has no compassion and caused stress to the family.
