I bought the Aveeno conditioner - Daily Moisture for Dry Hair, thinking this was supposed to be a brand using natural ingredients. I liked the idea of it having oat milk in it. On using it this morning though, I thought it felt really greasy and slippery and was so disappointed to find I couldn’t rinse it out properly. I spent ages in the shower trying to rinse it out, without success. My hair looks and has felt awful all day. I can’t wait for tomorrow morning to re-wash it and use another conditioner instead. On checking the tiny print on the bottle with a magnifying glass after drying it, I found it contains Amodimethicone and looking on internet it seems that this is NOT water soluble unless it contains cetrimonium chloride and trideceth-12. On checking the ingredient list on the bottle again, these are not in it - so that would seem to be why it looks and feels so greasy then.I have since checked other Aveeno product ingredients and it looks like they all contain (non-natural) Dimethicone. What is the point of ruining the effect of good ingredients by adding such cheap nasty, oil-slick fillers? This will be going in the bin tomorrow and I won’t be trying anything else from Aveeno.
