I bought an outfit online from Avelise, days later I was emailed to say there was a delay with my order and it was not yet processed with a discount code shared to use on another order for the future. I checked my order status and the order was not processed, so I emailed them and asked for a full cancellation as the order would not reach me in time for my event I was buying the item for. They subsequently emailed me asking for a reason for my cancellation and that they would 'review' my request. I explained (although I shouldn't need to) that it would not reach me by this Friday therefore it was useless to me. I shared their policy which stated if the order was not processed i was entitled to a full return. I also screenshot my order status (not dispatched/ processed) so there should have been no issue. I got repeat emails saying this was under review. I responded each time with i would like a full refund, I am within my rights. Today, I got an email to say its not possible they have processed the order. This is days after my request. They intentionally held out to do this. I have requested a charge back from my bank and following up with Irish and UK complaints companies. I will not stand for this. Stay clear of this company.
