We were having difficulty with Fi collars providing accurate off leash walks in the woods with our three dogs. So we thought we would Averia a try when we first noticed their availability. But first I ran a test, and compared the new Averia collar to our current Fi collars and also a Tractive collar during the one month free trial period. I took all three types of collars with me on a 1.8 mile bicycle ride around town, along with the Strava app running on my phone. The Averia collar was superior to the other two and comparable to Strava for accuracy of the track. We now own two Averia collars, and when our current Fi subscriptions runs out, we will purchase a third Averia collar. There were a few glitches with Averia during the first months of operation, but Averia support was and is very responsive to our needs and I highly recommend their dog collars for both accuracy of tracking and for the features of their software.
