This has to be the worst airline ever

This has to be the worst airline ever - from start to finish!! So let me share this with you. We purchased connecting flights: Roatan - San Salvador- Guatemala City - Flores because this was the only way we could get to fly to Flores.2 of the 4 flights were late - no explanation or apology given, and no-one to ask.We were told at Roatan, by the Avianca rep, that our luggage was checked through to Flores. However when we tried to go through connections in Guatemala City we were sent for the best part of an hour around the airport - whilst security detained our passports!! We only just made our flight to Flores!Unfortunately it didn't stop there - when we tried to leave Guatemala it transpired that despite everything our passports had not been stamped on entry!!!In short - don't believe anything Avianca tells you, don't expect a response to complaints, in fact don't expect them to give a damn and don't expect them to give any form of customer service
